I’m level 33 and got like 3 diamond shapes.
I’m Level 38 with the professor title and I have 2 white diamonds in a blue circle. 
level 25 “challenger” purple star
Level 45 with Leader title and three white diamonds in a Pink/Red circle
I wonder why the progress bars show such a different state? In my case the circle around my picture looks like 25% finished to next level but the linear one below looks like 50%…

Is something supposed to happen when you level up? I think I just went up to 36*, but there was no message or notification.
*3 white diamonds on turquoise, if people are interested…
…on my last level up I got some (9?) additional free packs to open… 
But also no notification, I just noticed because I had zero before.
That would have been nice… I didn’t get any packs, and if it gave me carats they weren’t enough to notice.
