I've been collecting cards on Neonmob, EVERY DAY, for the past Year and a half / two years. After these recent changes, introduced a month ago to all newly released series, I have lost interest. I no longer feel the rush of collecting. When all I get now-a-days are: common common common uncommon common rare common uncommon ~~ with VERY FEW high end cards, it gets extremely tedious, ridiculous, and unfun. And no, I will not spend money on credits. I am boycotting with my wallet because this change is incredibly ridiculous.
I heard it was because people complained that series were running out before they could complete them. THAT'S THE FREAKING POINT. You TRADE to finish a sold out series! That's what I have been doing for TWO YEARS. I have completed numerous sold out series this way! (Speaking of which, in the last 30 days, I have not completed a single series from any of the new series under the new system. Not to mention, the cards from the newer series are useless to trade with when trying to trade for cards of sold-out series. How do you value an INFINITE?!?!)
I've seen suggestions that are WAY smarter than what Neonmob introduced, such as allowing creators to do a second-printing run of their series once it has sold out. This would still count towards the original series but all cards would have a distinct "2nd Printing" next to the card number. ( This idea is thanks to @kararedwing in this thread: http://forum.neonmob.com/t/am-i-not-understanding-the-supposed-benefits-of-infinte-cards/2794/4 )
I no longer enjoy collecting cards. It's become a mindless grind now. I used to log in every day looking forward to collecting my daily packs, and I used to invite my friends to collect alongside me. All my referrals will stop now. I'm almost tempted to stop collecting, but I will grant Neonmob more time to fix what they have done before I cease all activity. (because I care about my streak)
